Host Home Providers
Laradon’s Adult Host Home program provides individualized living situations to people who can benefit from living in the private home of a family or individual. Individuals enjoy living in a family setting, engaging in community activities and sharing household responsibilities. Host Home Providers create a caring support system and assist the individual with personal care, meals, finances, medical appointments and community connections.
Independent Host Home Providers contract with Laradon to provide comfortable and healthy environments that are appropriate to an individual’s needs. Providers help individuals in their home have as normal of a life as possible.
LIVING OPTIONS
Family Care Giver
Laradon’s Family Care Giver Program allows individuals to receive their services directly from a family member, with paid support. Paid support may include housekeeping, bathing, dressing, and meal planning.
This model allows an individual with Intellectual and Developmental disabilities to receive services in their own home. The people who support them with their daily needs can be a family member, or staff person. The paid family member is required to take necessary trainings and has to physically be able to provide support when needed.
The family member can become a contractor with Laradon and provide paid care for their family member. The family member would receive training and supports from Laradon to provide care for their family member.
